Woodland Wildflowers
In between pulling garlic mustard I walk the woodland trail to the pond. The skunk cabbages are expanding and more ferns are unfurling. Tucked in here and there are woodland wildflowers coming into bloom. Here are some of the trail side beauties.
Solomon's seal,
Polygonatum pubescens
False solomon's seal,
Smilac
ina
racemosa
Wood anemone,
Anemone quinquefolia
Nodding trillium,
Trillium cernuum
